I discovered that Cornucopia on wicklow strett do some pretty damn good veggie sausages on the way back from a house party one morning. No replacement bacon though.
DOI – I am a meat eater but regularly frequent that restaurant and will occasionally choose the vegetarian option if I’m eating out.

On the way back from a house party – Jesus, not usually the time for adventurous eating, but fair play to you.
Tbh the only vegetables I eat are green vegetables (Brussels sprouts, leeks, peas) and even those I wouldn’t be wild about.
As for restaurants, I have to be last person to order. Because if someone else orders the steak and I don’t, I’ll be plagued with recriminations for the entire meal.
