TEHRAN, DAY 16: BON JOVI TO THE RESCUE
Veteran poodle rockers Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora have teamed up with Iranian singer Andy Madadian for a version of the old Ben E. King classic Stand By Me, recorded as a gesture of solidarity with the freedom-loving people of Iran.
Meanwhile, an obscure U.S. website called the Huffington Post posits the ridiculous theory that photographs of attractive Iranian women might somehow be fueling Western media interest in events in Tehran. If there is anything that can help reunite the Iranians, it’s smug bastard extraordinaire Bon Jovi.
Thought he was all smugged out by the end, but no, ego continues to win out and Jovi gets it done with some nice self-congratulatory back-slapping. Surely an early contender for a Nobel Peace Prize and Douche of the Year.
Also great to see the Huffington Post continue their war of words against you, Eoin. Hold out. Don’t stop till Hot Iranain Girls are free to burn their bras on the streets of Tehran !
