I also just noticed the writing on the front of the dish cloths, “easily do not drop the floss”. Pure poetry.

I’ve always suspected that, in countries where English is not widely spoken, there is invariably a thriving economy in young people bullshitting their way into menial jobs by pretending to be fluent speakers. It’s the only explanation!

I taught in South Korea for a little while. You’d think that kinda thing’d get old after a little while but it never does.
My favourite was an “I Heart My Hooker” t-shirt that could only have fitted an eight year-old girl.

I remember seeing a sign on the Brindiso to Patras ferry when I was interrailing years ago. “The direction of the ship cannot be held responsible for any loss of values.”
