Sly & the family Stallone
If this story is true, then Sylvester Stallone is an incredible person… who is also (possibly) mentally ill.

He babysat Mickey O’Rourke for a couple of years when everyone else turned their back on him. He seems to be one of those massively, weirdly, out-of-touch-with-reality yet awesome types. Glad he made it in ‘Da Mooovies’ if this preposterous pep-talk is accurate.

‘preposterous sounding’ I meant. ‘Cos if it was preposterous etc… Hate correcting myself in comment boxes, but it’s a compulsion.

Agreed. However, it’s Mickey Rourke, not O’Rourke. Just getting in before ya. Hope that messes with your head.

One word of warning about this story: Tony Robbins is a self-help guy with vested interest in exaggerating the power-of-self belief angle. What he says is so flattering – he doesn’t need to worry about Stallone suing even if it isn’t true.
On the other hand, it’s on YouTube over a year, so at least its not stealth marketing for The Expendables.
