subject Sharon Corr crowned queen of Twitter!

After joining Twitter only 4 weeks ago, Sharon Corr is fast becoming one of Ireland’s most prominent celebrity twitterers.

In mid June she was entered into the Ms Twitter competition, a contest voted on by all the Twittering music fans around the world. Although she was a late entrant, she shot up through the charts, overtaking fellow tweeting celebs such as Lily Allen, Katy Perry and finishing in first place, beating last years X-Factor finalist Diana Vickers. Sharon, who is releasing her first solo album this year, was ushered into first place by thousands of fans, both loyal Corrs fans and a younger generation discovering her for the first time.
